It gives you the chance to let the right choice come to you.

For now, enjoy your summer, and tell yourself that you can decide where to make a more permanent home after next school year. You've accomplished a lot already; you don't need to accomplish everything. At least not all at once. :-)Pixel Peeperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17553862902461169270noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1047900042385397529.post-81669583254072640122017-07-18T12:13:57.680-07:002017-07-18T12:13:57.680-07:00We moved three different places during my childhoo...We moved three different places during my childhood and since college I have lived in 9 different places for a year or more (and if you add in summers, there's a couple more states to add to the mix). I have decided that I am like Abraham... In a way, my home will always be in the sandhills of North Carolina, but I haven't lived there since I was six (but that's where my ancestors are from). Or maybe it should be Scotland (why they traded Skye for Moore County is beyond me). Somewhere I read one needs to grow roots or wings! Blessings on your decision and enjoy your time up north.sagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17499891950639742366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1047900042385397529.post-14309972346622228352017-07-18T09:28:30.466-07:002017-07-18T09:28:30.466-07:00Similar childhood growing up with multiple moves, ...Similar childhood growing up with multiple moves, a divorce, a remarriage and a name change through adoption thrown in. To this day I feel like I am more "home" to a region versus an actual location.

The one thing I always looked forward to when moving to someplace new was the chance to reinvent myself. I could leave what baggage behind that I chose and invent myself as I saw fit. It was very liberating to do so. I never went so far as to falsify myself. I just emphasized different elements in my new location and let things play out.Edhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13214319366049620074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1047900042385397529.post-53954104056376828592017-07-18T08:01:37.002-07:002017-07-18T08:01:37.002-07:00It's nice to visit with family and friends. I'm sure in due course you'll work something out that you're comfortable and happy with. We've moved around a lot.
About 14 moves in the last 28 years. We did have stable times, but then we had times when we were in a new area so very soon after our last new area we were in. I think God laughed in 1995 when hubby knew he needed to get a new job. We were in Southern California at the time. I told him "anything but the deep south or Montana". We ended up in Santa Fe, New Mexico (disaster for us). Two years later he got a job offer for yep Montana. Best 8 years of our lives. Just be open to what God has in store for you. He is never wrong and what an adventure he may just take you on if you allow him to do so. I hate to move, but I don't regret (much) each of the moves we have made.

bettybettyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06323135450742337670noreply@blogger.com
